From the epic mountains of Arran, Mull and Skye to the fiery whisky and sandy beaches of Islay, the inner Hebrides offer Scotland in miniature, a stones throw from the mainland. The wild and stunning Outer Hebrides offer beauty and remoteness second to none (and some truly amazing fishing).

With a slightly slower pace of life and some complicated ferry logistics involved it is not always the most straightforward holiday to plan – especially if you are hopping from island to island.
